Kia ora, crüe.

Flippin' heck. Things are getting spicy out there, huh!?! I hope you're staying as sane and healthy as possible at this plague-ridden point in time. This is a quick note to let you know that the noisy web-portal DIY Conspiracy has just published my annual round-up of Antipodean punk and hardcore. If you're interested in checking out some of the most horrid music to emerge from Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia this year, Down Under(ground): 2022 awaits your peepers.

FYI, that's only part of the end-of-year action I have planned. Later in December, Last Rites will publish two end-of-year editions of In Crust We Trust, highlighting punk and hardcore from elsewhere around the globe. The first edition focuses on LPs (Dec 29th), and the second on EPs and demos (Dec 30th). I'll post links to both articles when they go live.

Fair warning, it's been a while since I've written much of anything. I suggest we all join hands and pray that my end-of-year features won't be complete fucking train wrecks.

As always, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it — big time. It's been a rough year for yours truly, and I feel lucky to have made it through. Here's to those who didn't; long may we remember them. Much love to anyone struggling, especially at this time of year. Have a smashing holiday season, my friend(s). Stay safe. Be well. Kia kaha.

Hail Santa.

xx
